Mind Your Mind

What we think about, we bring about. In other words, if you think you can’t do or accomplish something, congratulations… you are 100% correct. Change, or transformation, comes from within. It involves a mindset. Changing our thoughts and picture about ourselves is part of change. Most of us are unaware of our thoughts and how we think and view ourselves. Someone once shared that if someone treated them the way they "thought" about themselves, they wouldn't have that person as friend. What do you think about yourself?

Mind your mind, start listening to your thoughts, being curious about them and asking yourself if they are true. Becoming aware of how we think, then we can begin to change the way we think and therefore change the way go about life and how we view things. True change happens with your mind, your thoughts. Change your thoughts and you will change your life.

A friend and mentor once shared with me the following; "Change does not take time, it takes commitment. Once commitment is made, change is instantaneous." Transition usually precedes change, and that is a whole other blog unto itself, as is resistance. Stay tuned...

Decide in your mind to be open to seeing yourself and sitautions differently, beign curious about what you think and believe. Commit to your change. It takes courage and grace to get the glory, so GO GET IT!
